Q: Your best experience through Key Club?
A: My favorite experience with Key Club was my time at DCON. DCON is a district convention at Dallas for Key Club groups within the Texas-Oklahoma area. I had the opportunity to learn more about Key Club’s regional workings and meet new people, all the while having a blast! I highly recommend going to this event if you can. Q: What is your advice to people aspiring to become Officers? A: One piece of advice I’d emphasize for officer hopefuls is to make your presence known in Key Club. While completing hour requirements and attending meetings are essential to a good application, you’d be more likely to surpass to the interview stage if you’ve taken the initiative to create bonds with other Key Club members, ask current officers questions, or consistently take an active, enthusiastic role at events. While these won’t necessarily guarantee you a position on the board, they definitely help you stand out from other applicants.
